Candy Cigarettes

My darling dear

Straight brown hair

Life’s a mess

Candy cigarettes

Blowin’ air without a care

It’s all ok

Your dreams

Come true today

Put on your favorite dress

Why is it such a mess?

My raggedy Anna

You are the best

You can’t be you

I can’t be me

It’s on the line

You clearly see

I make a wish

You understand

You always have the upper hand

People think you’re lesbian

It’s armageddon

All over again

Play, sing and dance

You are my light

You’re out of sight

You asked

To understand

You have no fear

That is why my dear

Without a doubt

You’re what life’s all about

My darling dear

Straight brown hair

You say life’s a mess

Candy cigarettes

Blowin’ air without a care

It’s all ok

Your dreams

Come true today

Kick and punch

Play guitar

Play it loud

You’re going far

You’re a miracle

And superstar

My darling dear

Straight brown hair

Life’s a mess

Candy cigarettes

Blowin’ air without a care

It’s all ok

Your dreams

Come true today

Look up now

You’re going far

You’re my miracle

And superstar

It’s all on the line.

Mindful and calm.
